You'll have to supply your base with enough power in Arknights: Endfield to keep your machines up and running. As this is just as much of a factory simulator as it is an open-world gacha game. Simple machines don't require a lot of power to sustain, but you'll quickly hit the power ceiling once you start adding more complex parts to your production lines. Thankfully, there are a few easy ways to boost your overall power output in Arknights: Endfield.

Thermal Banks are the main way to increase your power output in Arknights: Endfield. These handy little devices can convert Originium Ore and other items into power for your base.

To unlock Thermal Banks, you need to progress through the main story until you complete a mission called Paving the Way. This will unlock the second set of AIC upgrades on the tech tree. After that, just spend a Basic AIC Index to unlock the Power I technology.

We've got the best characters outlined in our Arknights Endfield tier list. Make sure you use Arknights Endfield free pulls and rerolls to maximise your chances. And remember, it's more about the Arknights Endfield best teams overall, than it is any specific character.

Thermal Banks can be placed in your base or any of your outposts like a normal factory item. They require power to function, so make sure they're next to an Electric Pylon!

Once you've placed a Thermal Bank, set up a supply line to keep it full of Originium Ore. You can dedicate a full AIC output port to Thermal Banks if you'd like, or you can use a Splitter to siphon off some Originium Ore from another part of your production line.

Originium Ore is fine enough early in the game, but you'll want to swap over to Batteries for your Thermal Banks eventually. These are quite expensive to manufacture (and they can be traded with outposts for Stock Bills), but they're worth the effort since a Battery is significantly more efficient than Originium Ore.

Ideally, you should set up a Packaging Unit to combine Originium Powder and Amethyst Parts to create LC Valley Batteries as soon as possible. You should already have plenty of these ingredients by this stage in the game, so put them to use!

Not only do Batteries last much longer than Originium Ore, they also provide much more power to your base. To put things in perspective, an LC Valley Battery outputs more than four times the power of Originium Ore. Things get even better when you unlock SC and HC Valley Batteries, each offering even more power than the last.

Don't forget to place Thermal Banks at each of your outposts to keep them running as well. Since factory space is scarce early in Endfield, it's a good idea to spread out your manufacturing among different outposts. You can dedicate an outpost entirely to Battery production, for example, freeing up valuable space for other devices elsewhere.
