Subscribe to our newsletterThe Arc Raiders Shared Watch event is live, with 21 rewards to earn between now and its February 24 end date. In that time, attacking any Arc will earn you merits for a range of items from Raider Tokens, to new Slugger outfit, and some useful blueprints - like the very useful Tactical MK. 3 (Healing Blueprint), one of the recently added Arc Raiders blueprints. There's also a Vita Spray blueprint, which feels like a useful thing to have if you haven't got it already. It's not entirely the PvE mode people seem to want, bit it will pay out if you play that way.
How to earn rewards in the Shared Watch event
To earn merits in the Shared Watch event you just have to damage and destroy Arcs, which you're probably doing anyway. Specifically, you can earn merits by racking up XP from the following things:
- Damaging Arcs
- Destroying Arcs
- Destroying Arcs via assist
Importantly, you get more XP the more dangerous the Arc you attack. So while I finished a match with barely 10 merits for taking out a bunch of Hornets and Wasps over the course of the game, I came out with 51 merits for pot-shotting a Matriarch without killing it, blowing up one Leaper with a mine, and then running home once my ammo was low. The risk and reward is up to you here - play it safe for small pay outs over longer times. Or risk it with more dangerous battles that will pay bigger, more quickly.
