Former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene again slammed President Donald Trump, saying he's the one preventing the release of the Epstein files.

Speaking on Home of the Brave, Greene recalled that Trump "yelled" at her about the matter. "He called me a traitor because I wouldn't take my name off the discharge petition," which eventually forced a vote to release the files.

"I don't support the coverup of all of this stuff, whatever it may be. The president told me his friends would get hurt. We're seeing a continued slow walk and cover up of a lot of this information and i know that is why," Greene added.

"Pam Bondi is not an independent attorney general. She works at the pleasure and approval of the president of the United States, everyone does. So does the FBI. you can name anybody you want, but the man at the top is Donald Trump. He's the president and he's the one that was completely against releasing the files," she added.

Greene has repeatedly slammed Trump over the matter, saying that is what caused the fallout between them and led to her resignation from Congress. Earlier this month she said the MAGA movement a "big lie."

Speaking with political commentator Kim Iversen on YouTube, Greene said she believes "people are realizing" MAGA "was all a lie." "It was a big lie for the people," she said.

Greene went on to claim that Trump has turned on his base and serves "big donors" who send money to his PACs and are financing the new White House ballroom.

"Those are the people that get the special favors, the government contracts, they get the pardons," she noted. "And it's the foreign countries that are running the show here. It's the major big corporations and what is best for the world. That's really what MAGA is."

Another recent report claimed that Trump celebrated criminal sex charges against Epstein 20 years ago, telling the then-Palm Beach police chief that the activities were well-known there and in New York.

The Miami Herald noted that Trump told Michael Reiter "thank goodness you're stopping him, everyone has known he's been doing this." This stands in contrast with Trump's repeated claims that he had no knowledge of Epstein's sex crimes.

Reiter made the claim in a 2019 interview with the FBI included in the case files held by the Justice Department. He went on to say that Trump claimed Epstein's associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was his "operative" and called her "evil."

Elsewhere in the interview, Reiter said Trump told him "he was around Epstein once when teenagers were present and Trump 'got the hell out of there.'" The former police officer confirmed he was interviewed by the FBI in 2019 and had a conversation with Trump in July 2006.

However, an FBI agent denied that Trump called Reiter. "We are not aware of any corroborating evidence that the President contacted law enforcement 20 years ago."
