For the next few nights, we’re going to try out something new for the night owls in the Purple Row community.
We’d like to pose a question here to set the stage for future discussion.
So here’s tonight’s topic: Who do you think will play first base for the Colorado Rockies in 2025?
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementWe know it won’t be Warming Bernabel, who declared free agency on Friday. We also know it won’t be Michael Toglia, who was non-tendered right before Thanksgiving.
That leaves — at least based on players currently listed on the 40-man roster — Blaine Crim and Troy Johnson.
Clearly, Charlie Condon (No. 2 PuRP) is the first baseman of the future, but who will start the 2026 season there? Someone already on the Rockies roster or a yet-unknown free agent?
Let us know in the comments.
