Beast of Reincarnation, the new action-RPG with big Sekiro and Nier vibes from longtime Pokemon developer Game Freak, is releasing on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC this summer. It'll also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Game Freak announced the date during today's Xbox Developer Direct alongside a developer presentation and some flashy new gameplay sequences. Beast of Reincarnation is the first full-blown AAA game outside of the Pokemon series to be developed by Game Freak, and untraditionally, it's releasing on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox instead of Nintendo hardware.

I got my big break here in 2019 with a freelance news gig, and I was hired on as GamesRadar's west coast Staff Writer in 2021. That means I'm responsible for managing the site's western regional executive branch, AKA my home office, and writing about whatever horror game I'm too afraid to finish.
