It looks as though Mario's first place position as the only for-adults Mario Kart model is about to be challenged, because a Lego Luigi set has just been teased.
It's a short post on Lego's social channels, but it's more than enough to tell us what we need to know: the famous plumber's little brother is joining the best Lego sets with a brick-based makeover. However, the Lego Luigi set seems to place him in the Mach 8 kart... which means you can recreate this glorious moment of cinema on your shelf. Lovely.
Judging by the very small amount of him we can see during the teaser, Lego Luigi will be of a very similar size to the Lego Mario and Standard Kart set (which weighs in at just under 2,000 pieces). With that in mind, it'll probably be a similar price - Mario can currently be bought for around $170 at Amazon, or £124.98 at Amazon UK rather than £150.
