There's a big Terraria update coming tomorrow, another heralded as the final one, bringing a wealth of new additions, including some crossovers with Dead Cells and Palworld. Dubbed 'Bigger and Boulder', this one lives up to the name on paper, and looking at the trailer, it's even more exciting in motion.
For Palworld, players are getting a Digtoise they can call on in times of need. We don't yet know if you can make this thing a pet or not, but it’s cute and handy nonetheless. On the Dead Cells side of things, there's a ton of equipment, including the Beheaded’s full get-up as a costume, and the Mushroom Staff, which should become everyone’s favorite weapon as it provides a small fungi companion.

On top of this, there's a seeds menu at world creation now, where you can concoct bizarre new worlds by mixing up your seeds. We knew previously these combinations could land you as a vampire or replace the oceans with something other than water, and now developer Re-Logic says there are over 100 combinations.
Another central focus here is given to the eight brand spanking new bosses you can face. One's a ridiculously-sized blue slime with a crown, another is a vicious looking giant centipede. There's a massive bumblebee as well. Oh, and I shouldn't forget the floating pair of cosmic eyes. These are all terrifying and they look like genuine challenges too.
But no risk, no reward. We can all find out more, and start building those sky castles, when the update is live on January 27.
Ahead of Terraria's sixth final update, one dedicated fan has led the creation of the sandbox survival game's ultimate (and first) modpack
