We're well into 2026 now that February is underway, and yet I've been racking my brain with what Switch 2, PS5, or Xbox Series X game should be taking up all my attention. Best Buy has made that decision a bit easier after dropping up to $25 off select Square Enix games, so now all I need to do is find the free time.
It's not just your typical Final Fantasy titles which are discounted today (though they're definitely there), but you can grab Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake for $49.99 (Best Buy) on the Switch 2, and for the same price on the original Switch if you aren't fond of game-key cards. PS5 players can stick with the classics instead and pick up Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles, which has returned to $39.99 at Best Buy, its lowest ever price so far.

Just remember to play the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake before you grab this deal, just the way Yuji Horii intended.

It's $9 off its usual $29.99 price point, which isn't the cheapest I've spotted it over the years, but there's only $5 seperating it from its price I spotted over last year's Black Friday.UK: £24.94 at Amazon

It's not the cheapest it's ever been, but you are getting six iconic games in total, so there's a lot of value in this physical set.Switch: $76.96 at Best BuyUK: £53 at Amazon

Rosalie NewcombeSocial Links NavigationHardware EditorEver since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
