Subscribe to our newsletterI have over 100 amiibos in my collection, but the Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Tulin has become one of my favorite from the lot. That's all thanks to Animal Crossing New Horizons, as tapping the adorable Rito sage in-game since the Version 3.0 update has allowed me to invite Tulin to my in-game island, where he resides to this very day.
If you're playing Animal Crossing New Horizons and want a Tulin villager of your very own, you can grab the amiibo for just $19.99 at Best Buy right now, saving you $10 off its full $29.99 MSRP. Much to my dismay, it's not the $10 ridiculously record low discount on the Switch 2 accessory that appeared during last year's Black Friday deals, but it's still a reasonable saving, especially as that's $10 you can put towards more amiibo.

Tulin The Legend of Zelda Series amiibo | $29.99 $19.99 at Best BuySave $10 - The Tears of the Kingdom amiibo has returned to just $19.99 today at Best Buy, saving you $10 off its full price. There's still $10 seperating the NFC-collectible from its lowest ever price so far, but it's an especially great deal for any Zelda fan who's returned to the world of Animal Crossing New Horizons this year.
UK: £16.99 at Nintendo UK
View DealHow to use the Tulin amiibo in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Adding Tulin to your New Horizons island in Animal Crossing is just the same as any other villager, but you do need the amiibo to do it. Once it arrives at your door after grabbing this Best Buy deal, fire up Animal Crossing on your Switch or Switch and head for the Resident Services building.
Once there, walk up to the Nook Stop machine, select 'invite a camper' from the list, and tap the Tulin amiibo on the right stick of the Switch 2 Joy-Con controller. Afterwards, Tulin will appear at your campsite, and all you need to do is fulfill his furniture requests a couple of times (you'll need to invite him twice in total) and ensure you have an empty villager slot on your island.
Inviting Tulin once will also unlock all the Legend of Zelda items that you can use to decorate your island and house via the Nook Shopping menu at the Nook Step. I've already got a room dedicated to Zelda, which features a terrifying replica of a dismantled guardian, which even lights up once you interact with it.
Remember, if you don't care about Animal Crossing, you can also use Tulin to unlock weapons and resources in the actual Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom games too. You don't have to just grab Tulin either, as all of the Zelda figures have a chance of unlocking Tulin or Mineru to your island, and you can check my handy New Horizons amiibo guide to find out which.

Rosalie NewcombeSocial Links NavigationHardware EditorEver since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
