Much like last year (where Nintendo offered a free MTG Final Fantasy booster pack with FF7 Remake), physical copies of Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth on Switch 2 will include a limited Magic: The Gathering Zack Fair card. While its stats are identical to previous versions, fans of the best card games may be interested to know it features original art by JRPG legend Tetsuya Nomura.

It's unclear exactly when pre-orders for the Switch 2 copy of the game will be going live, but it'll launch on June 3, 2026. Until then, I'd recommend keeping an eye out on Amazon and the Nintendo Store. Just remember, the card will only be available in a physical copy of the game, so buying digital isn't gonna cut it.
This wasn't the only reveal to come out of the latest Nintendo Direct, of course; the first Resident Evil amiibo are here, available this summer. Square Enix also revealed a $230 The Adventures of Elliot Collector's Edition, so I can only assume the JRPG's sterling Switch 2 demo did its job.
