Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked President Donald Trump over his criticism of Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime show.

The president said in a social media publication on Sunday that the show was "an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn't represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence."

"Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World," he added.

Asked about the post, AOC said: "I barely know what Trump is saying half the time, so I feel him."

The lawmaker also took aim at Jake Paul over his take. He had stirred controversy after saying he was "purposefully turning off" the show and called the Puerto Rican performer a "fake citizen" who "publicly hates America."

AOC slammed Paul, noting that he moved to the island "to avoid paying your taxes while kids across America go hungry?" "Meanwhile Benito actually funds low income kids' access to arts and sports programs, while you defund them. Of course you're mad. He makes you look small," she said.

Paul was also criticized by his brother, Logan, who said "Puerto Ricans are Americans & I'm happy they were given the opportunity to showcase the talent that comes from the island."

Paul then sought to clarify his remarks, saying he wasn't calling Bad Bunny a "fake citizen" because he is from Puerto Rico.

"I live in Puerto Rico, and I love Puerto Rico. I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico time and time again and will always do so. But if you're publicly criticizing ICE who are doing their job and openly hating on America, I'm going to speak on it. Period. That's the same reason I called out Hunter Hess. If you benefit from a country and the platform it gives you, but publicly disrespect it at the same time, that's what I mean by being a fake citizen. And I agree love is more powerful than hate. Love America," he said.

However, he continued receiving more backlash online, prompting him to Paul write: "Guys i love bad bunny idk what happened on my twitter last night ?? wtf."
