Subscribe to our newsletterKingdom Come: Deliverance 2 turns one year old today (they grow up so fast), and Warhorse has shared some startling statistics about what we've been up to as the affable Henry of Skalitz. Apparently, we're a bunch of murderous, drunken, fruit-obsessed thugs, for the most part.
Over on Twitter, Warhorse shared an infographic on player activity in the year since Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launched, and it looks like players aren't much for no-kill runs. Collectively, we've killed 452.8 million NPCs – more than the estimated population of the world in the 15th century, where the game takes place – and spared only 97.5 million. Meanwhile, 5.4 million of those murders were committed while drunk – apparently, Henry's an angry drunk.

One year on from the release of #KCD2 and we don’t know about you, but we’re still hungry. Here’s to everyone who’s joined the adventure, thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you! 🩵 pic.twitter.com/ZzxPPxAbsGFebruary 4, 2026
I feel some responsibility toward any readers that might be beginning their Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 journey and wondering how the hell the player base has managed to kill that many NPCs.
When you first start out, a random bandit encounter spells near certain death for poor Henry, but once the combat system clicks and you're geared and leveled up, you become a much more capable warrior. You'll never be hacking scores of enemies to death like you would in most action-RPGs, but most one-on-one fights won't pose much of a challenge.
Speaking of, here are some Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 tips to help you along your way.

I got my big break here in 2019 with a freelance news gig, and I was hired on as GamesRadar's west coast Staff Writer in 2021. That means I'm responsible for managing the site's western regional executive branch, AKA my home office, and writing about whatever horror game I'm too afraid to finish.
