After a Pokemon onslaught spurred by the 30th Anniversary and ultimately culminating in the explosive launch of Pokopia, you'd think Ninty would like a little break.
Nope, Mario Day promises more announcements, celebration, and deals, and I've been hunting down all the early offers to keep those thumbs busy this weekend. Some of the biggest Mario adventures of the last few years are already seeing some fantastic discounts, with retailers like Amazon, Walmart and Woot leading the way.
The best early Mario Day deals
- Amazon: games from $19.99
- Best Buy: accessories from $7.99
- Walmart: Lego from $9.05
- Woot: up to 21% off Switch 2 games

Nintendo warned that this package deal would run out way back in October, but you're still saving on the price of the game when you buy both together.

You're saving nearly $20 on the download code itself, and with the upgrade coming in at just $20 you're still below the $79.99 price of the Switch 2 box.

This is a discount I see a lot more of day to day, but it's still one of the lowest prices you'll find outside of major sales events.

Wonder, and with a $10 discount under its belt you're still saving cash compared to the full Switch 2 edition. That upgrade pack will cost you $20, whereas Amazon has both together for $79.99 right now.

Considering this Mario version has been sitting at around $30 so far this year, today's $25.99 sale price is looking pretty solid.

As a personal favorite kit, that's a deal well worth investigating.
View DealWhat is Mario Day?
Mario Day is a celebration of all things heroic plumber. Why does it take place in March, well March 10th kinda looks like our titular chap's name. That's really all there is to it, but it's a fantastic excuse for Nintendo to roll out discounts and use the day as a chance to announce more for its legendary franchise.
Will there be more Mario Day deals?
There could well be more Mario Day deals when more retailer catch on to the celebrations next week. However, Switch games hold onto their value for a long time so any savings of more than $10 or $20 aren't likely to be beaten.
We're also rounding up all the best MicroSD Express cards for Nintendo Switch 2 as well as the latest cheap Nintendo Switch bundle deals. Or take a look at the best Nintendo Switch headsets for more accessories.
