FeatureHere’s how you can help displaced people in LebanonAs a result of Israel’s intense bombing campaign, over 700,000 people have been displaced in Lebanon, and over 570 have been killed. Here are some ways you can help

As well as attacking southern Lebanon, where it has focused its efforts in the recent past, Israel has increasingly been targeting the capital city, Beirut, where it has destroyed residential buildings, bombed a hotel in the city centre and ordered the evacuation of 500,000 people from its southern suburbs.
The long-running conflict between Israel and Hezbollah (a political party and paramilitary group based in Southern Lebanon) erupted again after Hezbollah fired rockets into Israel last week, in response to the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei. There had, in theory, been a ceasefire in place between Israel and Hezbollah since November 2024, but Israel has continued to bomb Lebanon since then. Even though Israel never actually respected the ceasefire, the bombardment it has enacted this past week is still a significant escalation.
There are various organisations on the ground in Lebanon helping those who have been injured (an estimated 1313) and displaced. As the conflict shows no signs of slowing down, these groups need all the help they can get. Below you’ll find a list of groups you can donate to, all of which are doing vital work, providing meals, shelter and medical care.
