The Arknights Endfield best characters can help you breeze through all types of endgame content, as long as you invest in their best teams. Thankfully, a lot of Support and Defender characters work well in a variety of teams, so using your resources on them early is a smart way to save yourself time building characters in the future.
Whether it be the best damage dealers, or supports, to help you decide what characters and teams to invest in, these Arknights Endfield character tier lists rank and explain who the best option are and who you should aim to get.

Arknights Endfield S-tier characters
Here are all of the S-tier characters in Arknights Endfield:
- Antal (4-star, Electric Support)
- Ardelia (6-star, Nature Support)
- Laevatain (6-star, Heat Striker)
- Last Rite (6-star, Cryo Stiker)
- Pogranichnik (6-star, Physical Vanguard)
Make sure you don't miss out on the free resources and rewards you can get with the latest Arknights Endfield codes!
All of these characters are likely to stay near the top of Endfield's meta for a while yet, as they either have the best damage potential, like Laevatian, or are versatile enough to slot into almost any team composition, like Ardelia. Speaking of Ardelia, she's currently the best Support character in the game thanks to both her healing and universal damage boosting abilities, so I highly recommend building her first, or alongside your main damage dealer.
Antal is another Support, and while he may only be a 4-star, he's fantastic at increasing damage in Heat and Electric teams. In fact, Antal, Ardelia, and Laevatain make the bones of the best team in Arknights Endfield at launch, so investing in Antal and Ardelia can help you both now, and in the future.
Pogranichnik is another excellent pick thanks to his SP recovery, enemy gathering Ultimate, and sub-DPS potential, he's just not as versatile as Ardelia and Antal, because he's only at his best in Crush or Breach teams. The best damage-dealer next to Laevatain at launch is Last Rite, and as a standard banner character, you might want to invest in her over Laevatain if you want to build up your Permit pulls - if you're lucky enough to get Last Rite, that is!

Here are all of the A-tier characters in Arknights Endfield:
- Avywenna (5-star, Electric Striker)
- Ember (6-star, Heat Defender)
- Gilberta (6-star, Nature Support)
- Yvonne (6-star, Cryo Caster)
Ember is another versatile character who provides both healing and shields for your team, with her only real downside being that she's not as good as Ardelia. Still, you can always pair her with Ardelia for a real comfy time, or use Ember in another team comp if you want to give poor Ardelia a break.
If you're after an Arts Reaction-based support, however, then you might want to consider Gilberta, as her Combo Skill lifts enemies into the air when a reaction is made. Gilberta is also good at grouping enemies together, boosting your AOE damage potential.

Next up is Avywenna, who's the best Electric attacker at launch, but this is mostly thanks to there being no 6-star Electric Striker right now. But if you can master her slightly tricky playstyle, Avywenna can help you just as much as Laevatain and Last Rite, if you team her up with Antal, Arclight, and Perlica. A great line-up for a free-to-play account!
Then we have Yvonne, who's a fantastic Cryo DPS, but she's a limited-time banner character, whereas Last Rite is available in the standard banner. So if you manage to pull Last Rite, Yvonne won't add much to your account, unless you just like her as a character.
Arknights Endfield B-tier characters
Here are all of the B-tier characters in Arknights Endfield:
- Chen Qianyu (5-star, Physical Guard)
- Endministrator (6-star, Physical Guard)
- Lifeng (6-star, Physical Guard)
- Snowshine (5-star, Cryo Defender)
- Xaihi (5-star, Cryo Support)
These B-tier characters are either budget versions of S-tier and A-tier characters, like Snowshine, or are great free-to-play options to invest in at the start of the game, like the Endministrator.
In short: Snowshine is easy to play and can heal and restore some SP; Xaihi pairs well with Last Rite and boosts damage; Chen Qianyu is free and works well in Physical teams; Lifeng is also a great pick for Physical teams, especially if you don't have Pogranichnik; and the Endministrator is a free 6-star Physical attacker who can provide both damage and support.
Arknights Endfield C-tier characters
Here are all of the C-tier characters in Arknights Endfield:
- Akekuri (4-star, Heat Vanguard)
- Arclight (5-star, Electric Vanguard)
- Da Pan (5-star, Physical Striker)
- Perlica (5-star, Electric Caster)
- Wulfgard (5-star, Heat Caster)
I wouldn't call these characters bad, it's just that you either use them in hyperspecific teams, or they don't do as well as other easily obtainable characters. Generally, you should only invest in one if you know you need them for a specific lineup, or you just really like the character.
More specifically: you can use either Akekuri or Wulfgard in one of the best teams in the game with Laevatain, and Wulfgard can be his own budget main DPS if needed; Arclight and Perlica are needed for Avywenna's best team; and Da Pan is a good Physical main DPS, but so is the Endministrator, who's easier to build.
That unfortunately means that Alesh, Catcher, Estella, and Fluorite finish last in the great Arknights Endfield tier list race. Even though they can be used to clear story content, they're not worth investing in at all when compared to every other launch character.
