One Piece's second season leads another packed week of new streaming shows and movies

This week features a real big hitter in the form of One Piece: Into the Grand Line. The second season of the smash hit live-action show looks bigger and better than ever, but that's not the only thing worth looking out for this week.
Romance fans will be pleased to see the return of Outlander for its eighth and final season, and there's a couple of big recent movies making their streaming debuts, too. As ever, our selections cover several of the best streaming services.

One Piece: Into the Grand Line

The manga adaptation returns for its long-awaited second season. Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and the Straw Hats set sail for the Grand Line, a perilous realm rich with opportunity – and danger – as the quest for the legendary One Piece continues. Netflix's synopsis for the new run reveals that, "as they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world's greatest treasure, they'll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies." Exciting!
One Piece season 2 will also introduce a whole host of new characters, including fan-favorites from the manga like Dr. Kureha (Katey Sagal) and Tony Tony Chopper (Mikaela Hoover). Pleasingly, Netflix isn't separating the season as they do with many of their hit shows: all eight episodes will be available to stream from March 10.

Bob Odenkirk's retired hitman Hutch Mansell returns in this entertaining sequel. Following the events of the first movie, Hutch is forced to pay off his debts to The Barber (Colin Salmon), which means taking on new assignments. Tired and worried that he's pushing his family away, however, Hutch arranges a family vacation to Plummerville, Wisconsin. Unfortunately, trouble has a way of finding him and when the family fall foul of a corrupt local sheriff played by Colin Hanks, Hutch has to call on his skills once more...
Nobody 2 is every bit as cartoonishly violent as the first film. While it doesn't feel quite as fresh as the original, Bob Odenkirk's performance is never less than charming and it's great to see Christopher Lloyd return as his father David. Good bone-crunching fun.

Rooster
Available: US/UKWhere to watch: HBO Max
Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence and producer Matt Tarses are behind this new witty new father/daughter comedy. Steve Carell stars as Greg Russo, a best-selling novelist who is struggling with the sudden end of his marriage. He takes a new job as a Writer in Residence at a college, which will allow him to spend more time with his adult daughter, Katie (Charly Clive), who works at the college as an art history professor, and also re-live his college years – with sometimes calamitous results. The show also features future The X-Files star Danielle Deadwyler, alongside Connie Britton, John C. McGinley, and more.
The 10 episode first season of Rooster has just launched on HBO Max, with new episodes airing weekly. This looks like a very promising new sitcom.

Outlander season 8
Available: US/UKWhere to watch: Starz (US), Prime Video (UK)
The final season of this time-travelling romance wraps up the saga of Claire Randall (Caitríona Balfe), a World War 2 nurse who somehow found herself transported back in time to 1743, where she fell for Highland warrior Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). That was the start of a story with many twists and turns. Jamie and Claire are married now and, at the end of season 7, they discovered that their long-thought-dead daughter Faith may, in fact, be alive.
Few thought when it launched in 2014 that Outlander would run for eight seasons and 12 years. And while the show has started to show its age, it still commands a loyal audience who will be eager to see how everything wraps up.

Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret
Available: USWhere to watch: Hulu
Youthful angst, growing pains, and religious faith collide in this charming adaptation of Judy Blume's beloved novel. 11-year-old Margaret Simon (Abby Ryder Fortson) comes home from summer camp to find that her family is moving from New York City to the New Jersey suburbs. This upending of her life coincides with Margaret grappling with her uncertain religious beliefs and the everyday struggles of trying to make new friends and fit in at a very different school than the one she was used to.
Faithful to Blume's novel, while also providing more depth for the adult characters, this is a warm, witty, and genuinely moving film. Fans of Blume's work will be fully satisfied, but even if you've never read her books, you'll find a lot to enjoy here, including a charming lead performance from Abby Ryder Fortson.

Nuremberg
Available: US/UKWhere to watch: Netflix
Rami Malek stars in this gripping psychological drama, inspired by Jack El-Hai's book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist. In the wake of Germany's surrender in World War 2, U.S. Army psychiatrist Lt Col. Douglas Kelley (Malek) travels to Luxembourg to evaluate the Nazi leaders who have been captured and held in Allied custody. One of these is Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe) who seems, initially, to be co-operating with Kelley. It's not long, however, before Kelley realizes that he is in a duel of wits with the Nazi, who is set on avoiding the hangman's noose.
Directed by James Vanderbilt, Nuremberg is a fascinating and sometimes chilling document of a pivotal moment in history. Crowe is genuinely unnerving as Göring. Anyone who knows their World War 2 history will know how this story ends, but Vanderbilt's film is a well-made and gripping dramatization all the same.
