Mario Day has landed. Just like last year, this March 10 is business as usual with Nintendo using today as an excuse to discount and advertise some of its games and accessories starring Super Mario himself.

Yet while there are no big announcements today, it doesn't make it any less special. This Mario Day marks the first ever to occur since the Nintendo Switch 2 was released, and to celebrate, I'm using today as an excuse to gather up and show off some of my favorite Switch 2 accessories featuring Mario himself. Even though the handheld is just nine months old, there's a Bowser-sized amount of goodies, ranging from an officially licensed Samsung microSD Express Card that gives you 256GB of storage, to funky lenticular Switch 2 cases which reveal hidden art of Mario stomping on a Goomba, as he likes to do.

So you don't miss out on what's on offer, I've made sure to include accessories for both US and UK fans down below. In one instance, I couldn't quite find the PowerA 'Mario Mayhem' controller in the US, so I've swapped it with an equally funky-looking pad. But that's the great thing about Switch accessories, you don't have to look far to find one draped in art of everyone's favorite mustachioed plumber.

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up.
